Nardo Grey S4

The Nardo Grey S4 is a rare beast. It’s hard to find one that looks as good as this one does.

The Audi S4 is the high performance variant of Audi’s compact executive car A4. The original Audi S4, built from 1991 until 1994, was a performance-oriented version of Audi’s 100 saloon/sedan. All subsequent S4s since 1997 have been based on the Audi A4; and as the A4 has evolved from one generation to the next, so has the S4.

A more powerful internal combustion engine, larger upgraded brakes, firmer suspension, larger wheels, and distinctive sheetmetal and interior trim are amongst the many upgrades over their respective base models. To further distinguish itself from the related A4, exterior and/or interior styling treatments are applied which set the S4 apart from other members of the A4 lineup.

The Audi B9 S4 is the high performance variant of the Audi B9 A4 range of compact executive cars. The new model was unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show in March 2016 and sales to retail customers began in May 2016.[1] The third generation Audi S4 is powered by a newly developed 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 TFSI engine producing 260 kW (354 PS; 349 hp) and 500 N⋅m (369 lb⋅ft) of torque, 7 kW (10 PS; 10 hp) and 20 N⋅m (15 lb⋅ft) more than its predecessor.[2] It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, which replaces the previous 6-speed automatic transmission.[3][4] Compared to its predecessor, 0–100 km/h (62 mph) time has improved by 0.7 seconds, which now takes 4.7 seconds when equipped with quattro all wheel drive.[5][6]

The power delivery was very smooth and quiet, but it certainly had an aggressive nature that came out on demand. You can hear that supercharger whine kick in when you give it some throttle — it has a very nice sound that’s

the new Audi S4 is a 3.0-liter V6 engine with 354 horsepower and 369 lb.-ft. of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds with the available seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission, or 4.7 seconds with the standard six-speed manual transmission. Both models have a top track speed of 155 mph.

The S4 uses a turbocharged 3.0L V6 that makes 349 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque, a significant bump over the previous model’s 333 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque, which was sent through an eight-speed automatic transmission. The 2018 S4 uses a similar eight-speed auto, but Audi says the new model has been reworked significantly to handle the extra power and torque of the new engine. As before, you can get either all-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive; Audi is expected to announce final specs and pricing closer to launch.

The current generation A4 went on sale in 2015 as a 2016 model, so while this update isn’t major, it does keep one of Audi’s most important vehicles up to date for at least another year until we see an all-new.
